U-pick round and Italian tomatoes

COLLECTION PERIOD

From the end of July until the end of September.
There is no minimum amount for pick up.
You can pick them yourself, or buy them already picked at the kiosk at the entrance.
If you want large quantities, already picked, please let us know in advance.

CONTAINERS

We provide 6 liter (11 quart) containers.
We lend containers of 18 liters (4 gallons) and
36 liters (8 gallons) for larger quantities.
So plan large bags to transfer your tomatoes. You can also buy our 36 liter container for $5.

HOW TO COLLECT THEM

Look for firm, fleshy tomatoes,
If the size does not indicate maturity, the color is a good indicator: the
pink or red tomatoes are ready to pick. You just have to pull on the tail to detach it from the plane.
To find out about our opening hours, our payment methods and the services offered at the farm, consult our PICK-UP page.

HOW TO STORE THEM

If you want to eat them in the next few days, leave them at room temperature.
Ideally, do not keep them near cucumbers, broccoli, eggplant, mushrooms or cabbage, as they could cause them to age prematurely.

IN THE FREEZER
You can freeze them whole on a plate and then transfer them to a bag. Make sure they are completely dry before freezing them. No need to cook or peel them.
You can keep them all year round.
However, when thawed, they will be soft, but ideal for making a good spaghetti sauce, chili or soup!
